About My First Vote
Informed and engaged young voters build stronger communities and a brighter Connecticut. We are here to guide you through your first steps in democracy.
OUR PURPOSE
Empower. Inform. Engage.
Voting for the first time can feel complicated. There are deadlines to remember, registration rules to understand, and a lot of election information to sort through.
My First Vote was created to make that process simpler for high school students and first-time voters.
Our goal is to bring the most useful information together in one place so students can quickly understand how to register, how voting works, where to find reliable information, and what to expect when they vote for the first time.
We hope to make election information easier to understand, help students feel more prepared, and encourage them to participate with confidence
